- Wear a no-show sock in a shade close to your skin, cut below the topline
- Rotate pairs: never wear the same loafer two days running in summer
- Use cedar shoe trees overnight to draw moisture out of the lining
- Hem the trouser so it just misses the shoe, showing one to two inches of ankle
- Choose suede over polished leather when you know the day will be hot
